Lenten cross Yard displays available for sale as fundraiser

Picture
Our council is selling this unique, 4ft tall hand-made Lenten Cross yard display. Place this cross in your front year or garden to show others the celebration in the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Proceeds from the sale of these crosses will benefit St. Timothy School athletics programs. These crosses are hand made from high quality stained pine by members of our council that will last for many Easter seasons. They can be easily collapsed for storage and they include white and purple sashes and a yard stake. A cross is only $25.

Please help us sell these crosses by buying one for yourself and family as well as passing the word to others of their availability. To place an order to purchase a Lenten Cross, contact Mark Sippel by phone at (859) 384-0227 or Sparky Merk by email at sparky.merk@fuse.net. (Cash, checks or credit card with PayPal accepted.)

**2021 Dues Payment needed**

2021 Dues Collection
Due to the complications related to Covid -19, our council has had to develop new methods to carryout our mission.  We have had to resort to new methods for our Council such as “On-line” Monthly Membership Meetings for example and normal fundraising has been difficult or impossible. As we close out 2020 and plan for 2021 the single largest fund raising opportunity that we see for perhaps the first half of 2021 will be Council Member Dues.  To help with the collection of dues we are offering two options. Simply mail your dues to our Financial Secretary, William Donahue at his address below (saves the council the most money), or use the Council’s Pay-Pal account (fee based). Our Worthy FS Bill will confirm by email when your payment arrives via either method and will mail out your Membership Card for 2021.
Mail your Dues payment to:

Our order has a long history of promoting civil rights rooted in its founding mission of Unity and Fraternity. Use the link below to read more about this fascinating history:

There is also a article written in this edition of Columbia magazine by a Louisiana priest, Father Joshua Johnson reflecting on the task of racial reconciliation in light of the Church’s mission. His article reflects on where things stand today and how we, the Body of Christ can move forward together as one church so that our "church on earth (may) look like the church in heaven".

Fr. Bolte Scholarship fund needs ouR help!

As most of you may know, for Fr. Bolte's 35th anniversary, in loo of gifts, the parish has setup and is asking for donations to this fund. As Knights, one of our Orders biggest commitments is to Catholic education. This fund will directly assist families who wish their children to have a Catholic education, but might not have been able to afford it without the assistance from scholarship programs like this. Please show your support and use this event as an opportunity to show you Charity as a Knight to make a difference for a family wishing to attend our fine school. Consider making a specially marked donation in the collection basket at weekend masses or contact the parish office to make a contribution to this great scholarship fund.
