History of the Knights at St. Timothy
The Knights of Columbus St. Timothy council #15211 was formed and charted as an expansion council in early 2012 by several Knights from the KofC Ackerman council located in Burlington KY, and with several new Knights joining to be apart of this new council. A total of 30 Knights participated as Charter members of the council in its original formation. The council is made up of men ranging in age from late teens to retired, with an average of over 25 years each in service to the Knights, including some Honorary Life members with over 40 years of service..

Church and Parish Activities:
- Many council Knights participate in yearly activities for the parish including the Right To Life walks, yearly donation for St. Timothy's participation in the March for Life and the distribution of precious feet pins every year during Pro-Life month.
- Assumed responsibility for manning the Holy Donut trailer and Pork Tenderloin booth at St. Timothy's October Fest each year.
- Re-established the annual parish family Pig Roast BBQ in place of the now expanded parish October Fest.
- Yearly sponsorship of one or more Seminarians for the Archdiocese of Covington and Diocese Vocations.
- Yearly donation to fund the St. Timothy St. Vincent DePaul chapter.
- Donation to fund the RCIA Bibles.
- Yearly collection operation and donation of the Food for Lent program held at St. Timothy's for local food pantries.
- Financial and manpower support for the St. Timothy school.
- Financial support for many special events and causes, including parish mission trips, fund raising for groups like the Heritage Girls, The Hope Center, CarNet and more...
Fund Raiser Activities:
- Established the Pork Tenderloin sandwich booth at the Boone County Fair since 2013 as the councils primary fund raiser.
- Sponsorship and running of the annual St. Timothy Golf Outing.
- Annually man the local area arm of annual national KofC Tootsie Roll drive raising funds for the KY Association of Mentally Disabled and national mental disabled children and adults funds.
- Held a special Donut Trailer sale raising over $500 for the establishment of the St. Timothy Heritage Girls troop.
- Special fund raiser to help fellow Knights and their families effected by the earthquake in the Philippines.
- Special fundraiser for Jackie Brockman's mission trip.
- Raising funds and annually contributions to support the new St. Timothy school.
- Held a special Donut Sale to raise funds for the parish mission trips.
- Raised funds to support the purchase of several Ultrasound machines in Northern Kentucky to support new mothers, including New Hope Center and CarNet.
The Council's Grand Knight History:
Our councils first Grand Knight was Art Krpata, who was also one of the principle architects in establishing our council. Art has been a Knight for over 30 years, including as a 4th Degree Knight and moved to Kentucky from Pennsylvania with his wife after retirement. Over the years he has previously served in many officer roles with the Knights including Past Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator and District Deputy in his previous council in Pennsylvania.
TJ Mueller served as our second Grand Knight for two terms after joining the Knights during the formation of our council as a Charter member. TJ was born and raised here in Northern KY, and his family have been active members of the parish for many years. He has been responsible for considerable continued membership growth of this council and he continues in many other active roles, including Recruitment Chair and our annual Golf Outing chair sense being Grand Knight.
Christopher Puckett was our third Grand Knight after transferring to St. Timothy's council as a Charter Member. Chris and family have been a parishioners of St. Timothy parish for many years and he has contributed greatly to our council as Grand Knight, including the establishment of our annual contribution fund to the St. Timothy school. Chris has also helped contributed to the growing membership of the council.
Mark Sippel is our councils current Grand Knight and is also one of the councils Charter members. Mark and family have been parishioner's of St. Timothy for over 10 years. He is also a 4th Degree Knight and a member of the Knights Color Corps.
